Be present, be mindful, be grateful. All day. You may need to add a reminder to your calendar (or multiple reminders), employ the power of sticky notes, or whatever works to keep this top of mind throughout the day.
According to mindfulness expert, Thich Naht Hanh, it only takes three seconds to reconnect the mind and body and become present. You can do this by breathing in deeply and focusing your attention on your breath and your body. (Yes, do this right now!)
Journal the journey: What did you learn today? What did you notice about being mindful and present? How do you feel when you spend time focused on gratitude?
