We hear it a lot: “I’m just trying to get through the holidays” … “If I can just get through this next week!” How sad! If you celebrate the season, then you must be celebrating for a reason. Keep that in mind and maintain your perspective.
There are countless options for how to spend your time; get intentional with your choices and do what works for you and your family.
Rather than “getting through it” how can you enjoy the season? Here are some tips to keep in mind:
- Focus more on the impression you make with your presence than the impression you make with your presents
- Don’t expect perfection (from yourself or others)
- Know that you have choices and make smart ones
- Get intentional about what you commit to
- Take care of yourself
Merry Christmas! May this be your best and most blessed holiday season ever!
